I want to wish you a happy thanksgiving. For those who are going through hardships, try to find some room for gratitude today. Even if you don’t have a lot, be thankful for what you do have.
And remember, no matter how bad your problems may seem, they are never permanent.
Where do you see yourself in 1, 3, or 5 years? Focus on that. Every morning and every night, you should take a few moments to envision the life you want. Try to paint a crystal-clear image in the mind of your dreams, who you aspire to be, and what you want to achieve. Don’t lose sight of your long-term vision.
It’s not impossible. Anyone can do it. You are the author of your own life, creating an experience one second at a time.
We are all powerful beyond measure. But external circumstances—make us believe otherwise. Society has instilled this sick idea that we are not brilliant enough, beautiful enough, or strong enough. Well, who are you not to be? When you play small, it does not serve the world. You are born to shine, as we all are.
There is a light that never goes out. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. Once we stop holding ourselves back and let ourselves entirely and utterly shine, we unconsciously empower others to do the same. And we escape the chains holding us back, as we become liberated from our fear. We become free.
Some questions to ask yourself for self-reflection:
What are some positive changes you made this year?
What were your top three personal and professional accomplishments from this year?
What were your top three personal and professional challenges from this year?
What are three long-term goals you want to work towards?
What are you most thankful for?
